Oregon Shared Stewardship Agreement

The State Department of Natural Resources in Washington reached a joint management agreement in May 2019. The agreement establishes a framework for Washington and the USDA Forest Service to jointly promote common priorities, coordinate investments and implement landscape-wide projects across Washington. (3) The goal of a loyalty agreement is as follows: in February 2020, the Department of Forestry and Wildlife of the Department of Natural Resources and Agriculture of Hawaii signed a joint management agreement with the USDA Forest Service to increase the scope and scope of critical forest treatments. The main objective of the agreement is to create a space for the development of common priorities and a comprehensive assessment of national needs. (4) The State Board of Forestry and the State Department of Agriculture adopt in consultation with the State Department of Fish and Wildlife, in accordance with the rule of procedures and criteria applicable to trust agreements.
